"Art is a platform from which to speak, but not to tell you something. I give you a platform from which to think and debate. Ultimately, art does not reside in the object. It resides in what’s said about the object. That’s where it makes change."
Seen here are the works Bulletproof Umbrella (2006), Black Jack (2006), and Always After (The Glass House) (2006), all installed at the now defunct Max Protetch Gallery, New York City, in 2006. The color of the room was the result of a translucent red film that was applied to the gallery’s front windows.
This scene is featured in the Art in the Twenty-First Century Season 4 episode, Ecology (2007).
